MY LETTER TO THE WORLD

by Quentin Crisp

This is, as Miss Dickinson would have said, my letter to the world. I was put on Internet against my will, but I am very glad of the result of being put there. I like my friends, but I am mad about strangers. The only trouble is that I cannot reply to each of you separately. I can only thank you generally for the interest you have shown in me, in my work, and in my happiness.

Thank you.
